5) How are the spiritual consultations conducted at Tenda de Umbanda Sagrada Família?
Consultations are conducted individually. Each visitor is assisted by a medium who is incorporated with the spiritual guide responsible for that day’s service. During the consultation, a cambone (assistant medium) remains beside the guide to assist and to provide clarification after the consultation, when needed. All consultations are confidential, and no information is shared with third parties.
6) I am an Umbanda practitioner but have been away from the religion for some time. How can I join Tenda de Umbanda Sagrada Família?
This is a very common question. We recommend that those interested in joining our spiritual house attend the ceremonies regularly for several months, participating in the works offered and becoming familiar with the house. Anyone invited to join the mediumistic group must first receive authorization from the head spiritual mentor of the house, Exu Sete Encruzilhadas. For further information and guidance, please speak with Roberta, the Mother of the house.
7) Do you charge for scheduling or consultations?
No. Tenda de Umbanda Sagrada Família does not charge for scheduling or for consultations.
As a recognized religious non-governmental organization in the country, we accept voluntary donations.
